Their last inspection on 9/9/2015 improved from 89 to a score of 99 with the violation keeping them from a score of 100 being their plumbing.

 

I was there once about 15 years ago. I recall sorta digging it and liking what I ate. Have never been back, but only because I tend to forget all about it since I rarely drive that far down the main drag in Ludlow.

I should have added I went with a couple of beast men I met at one of my gyms. One has an opinion on everything and the other is a former professional bodybuilder. People watching with them, especially when guys take their shirts off and walk around, was priceless.

Another point, it was clean. Even the restroom was clean, smelled good, and there was plenty of quality hand soap to wash up with.

 

And no, nobody's paying me to say these things, just my observations yesterday.

 

Also someone mentioned the service, considering how busy they were, these women were motoring around, the service was solid.

I went Sunday afternoon and it was a great time. Everybody was friendly, the beer was cold, the food was good, it was pretty happening, and most of all the price is reasonable.

 

It is only a few blocks from my house. So I definitely spend a lot of time there in in the summer. Very good food, and very nice sceanary down there!

Definitely not my type of place.

 

Have you ever tried to go there during the day, or during the week? I enjoy it on the weekends at night, but it is also a very relaxing place with good food during the week too.

We head down a few times a year on the boat. Beer is cold, staff is always a bit slow due to being so crowded. Food is decent, not great.

I've heard they do more canned beer than any other bar in NKY? If true, really impressive as a summer only bar. By the way, cash only fellows!

 

I believe its more can beer than any bar in Kentucky, not just NKY.

They have a Rib Dinner Special on Thursday nights that is fantastic.

If I had any desire to go there at all, seeing who some of the clientele are that are chiming in here would definitely squash that desire.

One Sunday I was down there amd watched 3 different people fall in the river. You have to be careful when drinking.

Go there about once a month on Saturday nights. It's one of the better bars in NKY imo. I like it over most places in Covington and I hate going to the Nati for bars.

It's early in the year. They had all winter to work on it. :lol2: The room where the bathrooms are is always like a messy storage room.

My wife (a Ludlow girl) has been bugging me for years to take her there. Might have to check out the Thursday ribs. Unless............somebody wants to invite us over to the Compound? :whistling:
