There are also old college teammates that are forming teams and entering the tournament. The UK team is called The Bluegrass Boys. I believe Derek Anderson is the coach. May 2, 201610 yr Author This is the third year for The Basketball Tournament. The winning team gets 2 million dollars this year. Last year it was 1 million.

May 2, 201610 yr They talked about this on KSR a week or so ago. I think Mark Krebs was the one who organized the team. They talked about Teague, Crawford, & Bradley playing, as well as Anderson coaching.
May 2, 201610 yr Author I watched it last season, it was fun to watch. I'll be watching it this year. I never knew it was televised but this year with better advertising and more household names playing I am really looking forward to it.

May 2, 201610 yr Looks like the final 16 teams will all be on TV either ESPNU or ESPN2 according to the website. Also if a team makes it to the final 16 they can then bring in a "Ringer" that wasn't on the team for the earlier rounds.
