April 12, 201610 yr This umpire has no clue where his strike zone is. Just awful.....doesn't deserve to be paid to call a game in the major leagues.
April 12, 201610 yr Finnegan probably moves to the pen at some point. Simon could move to the pen as well. These things usually have a way of working themselves out via injury or performance. I would keep Finnegan in he rotation until he reaches his innings limit.
April 12, 201610 yr Who was the home plate umpire tonight? Not sure but that was an awful 9th inning.
April 12, 201610 yr That go Cubs go song is really stupid. It really gets Cubs fans riled up when you walk around singing Go Reds Go...
April 12, 201610 yr Not sure but that was an awful 9th inning. He called a strike on a pitch just off the dirt to Suarez in the first inning. It would have been ball four and the Reds would have had runners on first and second with no outs. Suarez, ultimately, lined out to the third baseman.
April 12, 201610 yr It really gets Cubs fans riled up when you walk around singing Go Reds Go... Does it? :lol2:
April 12, 201610 yr John Tumpane was the home plate umpire. He is a poor excuse, and, if he can't call a game better than he did tonight, he needs to get straight to high school baseball. That was the worst performance by a major league umpire behind the plate that I have ever seen.
April 12, 201610 yr John Tumpane was the home plate umpire. He is a poor excuse, and, if he can't call a game better than he did tonight, he needs to get straight to high school baseball. That was the worst performance by a major league umpire behind the plate that I have ever seen. Was he bad for both teams?
April 12, 201610 yr The Reds pen is awful and the Cubs line up is relentless. This isn't hard to figure out...
April 12, 201610 yr Great start by Finnegan... To think he no-hit the "Greatest Lineup of All-Time" for 6-2/3rds is amazing.
