Tyler Summitt admits inappropriate relationship, resigns at Louisiana Tech

Yeah, about that inappropriate relationship. One of his players is pregnant. Yikes.

Hire a 23 yr old kid and....

A lot of awful here, IMO...

1. It is likely that he got this gig, in part, based on your mom's legacy and this will be associated with her name as the news comes out with this story.

2. You have made the opportunity decidely more difficult for the next young, male coach that is seeking an opportunity to be the head of a women's program.

3. Talk about a breech of trust from a person in a position of power.

Doesnt it take two to tango?

Doesnt it take two to tango?

Yep.

I'll go out on a limb and say it's still inappropriate, though.

It's worse than any Coach Affair that I can remember if it is true that he got a player pregnant. Bobby Petrino is saying, "Damn Tyler, even I know better than that"

Doesnt it take two to tango?

It does...and just like I thought it was wrong for Pitino and Petrino I think it is wrong for Summit.

He's 25 and if she is a junior or senior should could be at least 22. Not saying it is right but there is not much difference in age

By the same token, it's a huge abuse of the power of his position. That's why it's an issue.

I completely agree.

Hearing it's a Marquette transfer.

Ashley Santos and Brooklyn Pumroy followed him to LA Tech

Still wondering why they hired a 23 year old to run their program.

So how did this guy recruit?
