Voice of Reason
Only Votto does that. Bruce barely gets a hit 2 out of 10 times. My prediction is that Bruce will have an even better year this year than the one he had last year. I am going with more home runs and RBIs than last year and an average of .240 or better. Jumper_Dad
If those three do that 7 out of 10 times and get hits the other three times they make the All-Star team. True but they looked so bad doing it the first two at bats, I don't have high hopes for these next 8 at bats. Those 3 plus Hamilton have looked lost so far. BP swung trying to pull a pitch that bounced in the dirt almost in the other batters box. If the game gets out of reach I have no doubt Votto will then rip a couple of clean singles. Cuban Missile
Looks like Votto is trying to get himself a golden sombrero to start the year off... 75% of the way there so far.
Jumper_Dad
Votto's swings on those first 3 strike outs look like someone tapped him on his funny bone just as he started each swing.
Randy Parker
Votto looks as though he's never faced big league pitching in his life.

Randy Parker
Bases loaded, nobody out. Down 2-1 in the bottom of the 8th. Top of the order up after a Philadelphia pitching change.
