March 30, 201610 yr The price of beer (41 taps) will be based on how often it is bought compared to others. Sounds like an interesting concept. I am intrigued. Downtown's newest bar, Queen City Exchange, will price beer like stocks - Cincinnati Business Courier
March 30, 201610 yr Author $2 IPA I would be thrilled. However, I think that you're drastically underestimating how popular craft beer is in Cincy, especially a bar anywhere near OTR.
March 30, 201610 yr I agree, hipsters love the IPA. I'm saying if people love the bud light, then it'll drive that price up and a high potency brew will be driven down. It's a great concept. It will force us fraidy cats into opening our wallets and jumping into the unknown by trying different selections.

Places like Rhinegeist and Madtree definitely changed that. I think it would be interesting how much prices fluccuate for certain beers over time vs beers like Truth (which I would imagine would genuinely have a higher price). I don't think it would be the IPAs with the lower prices. I would bet it would be the random Stouts and Porters.
March 30, 201610 yr Author I wouldn't drink it for free Just keep driving that price down for the rest of us haha!
March 30, 201610 yr Just keep driving that price down for the rest of us haha! Will do. I've tried several and not a single I've liked
March 30, 201610 yr I've heard of this concept before. Can't remember where. I'm curious how it works. I wonder how much/often the prices swing.
March 30, 201610 yr Seems like a gimmick to get you in the door. I couldn't see them changing the pricing that much to where it would influence what beer you buy. We'll see I guess.

Yeah I agree. Since it is downtown, I'd imagine that their beer prices will all still range from $3.75 and $7.50. Complete random guess.
March 30, 201610 yr Eli's in Crescent Springs (now closed) would do this with some of their shots. Nothing better than getting an Irish Car Bomb for $2
