March 24, 201610 yr From PFT, Jeff Fisher has called that suggestion "absolutely absurd" and the NFL has yet to respond to a request for comment on the subject. As the NFL Turns...
March 24, 201610 yr I think the truth is somewhere in between. Not all 32 teams are eligible for Hard Knocks. I wasn't looking at it that way. If you are the NFL you have 32 exactly equal teams, you can't do something for one of them or make a deal with one of them and exclude the other 31 teams.
March 24, 201610 yr Additionally, if this is true, you have to ask yourself in what other ways is the NFL manipulating the draft and how many teams is the NFL secretly working with? This screams corruption, again, if true.

If you don't think a majority if not all the owners were on board then you are crazy. There is a reason why the player the Rams were gonna draft in that slot was still there to sign as a rookie FA. That same player made the roster over SAM.
March 24, 201610 yr What is Jeff Fisher supposed to say? They would never admit to it if true. I am trying to present both sides to the best of my ability.

This screams corruption, again, if true. Roger Goodell works for the owners. Every decision he makes is supported by a majority of the owners. We may not like them but Goodell is nothing but an overpaid face for the owners.
March 24, 201610 yr And any of us know that how? My second paragraph. The best player left was passed over by the last 7 teams in the draft for a reason. It was determined Missouri was the best fit for Michael Sam once the league realized no one would draft him. So owners make a deal for the Rams to bite the bullet.
March 24, 201610 yr Sorry, I just am not seeing all the boogeymen that everyone else seems to be seeing. I will wait for more information before I start to think any of this is a story of any consequence.
March 24, 201610 yr There are legitimate reasons over the last two years to be upset with the NFL. This isn't one.
March 24, 201610 yr So you don't support the NFL's policy of tolerance and inclusiveness that prohibits discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other improper standard? Why do you insist on assuming I have some anti tolerant stance? Seriously? Have I ever said that anywhere? I think the NFL is full of crap, no more, no less.

I don't assume anything with you. Unlike most of the MEN in this forum, you were one of the few "brave" ones that ventured into the other thread. All I am trying to do is get a yes or no from you? In other words doc, get off the fence!

All I am trying to do is get a yes or no from you? In other words doc, get off the fence! I haven't been on the fence. Never have. I think they should have a tolerant stance when it comes to inclusion. I thought the same thing when the Gov of Indiana made a jackbutt out of himself on national television. But my entire point, now and forever, is that the NFL is nothing but a PR machine and bows to the almighty dollar in hopes of making more of the almighty dollar. I don't think there's one stitch of sincerity or social sensitivity that drives a single decision they make. Not one.

In all seriousness doc, I am having a reading comprehension problem, please humor me, do you or don't you support the NFL's policy of tolerance and inclusiveness that prohibits discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other improper standard?
