Obama has represented blacks amazingly like no other POTUS ever has before. How he can create jobs for blacks only is beyond me. We all know folks ain't having that. When he appoints blacks in his cabinets folks get mad about that so I mean.......

Because democrats still appear to be sympathetic to the plight of black people. Even though they don't do much they at least listen. Hillary and Bernie have been trying. Especially when it comes to BLM matters. How have the republicans been on BLM issues?

Exactly what has he done to promote blacks other than being bi-racial?

His policies have sent tons of jobs overseas, therefore it effects the black population, as well as the population in general, to get jobs. It just effects the inner cities and poorer neighborhoods to a greater degree.

Dems have done nothing to help. If someone is running game on me I'll be danged if I am going to continue to put them in office to continue to run the same game.

Why is BLM any more important than any other group? I understand how they may be more important to you but not the White House.

Obama has shown every black child that he or she can rise to one of the highest positions of power in the world. It's easy to tell people they can do anything but it makes it a little more real and attainable when you see it actually happen.

I didn't vote for him and have my fair share of complaints, but his symbolic presence alone I would argue will have done more for black youth than anything any presidential candidate of my lifetime could ever do.

He has continually been the voice for the average black dude in America.

Black Harvard professor, Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, I can't breathe, Freddie Gray, sang Amazing Grace at the Charleston funeral, kicks it with Jay-Z and Beyonce, the FLOTUS honors Phife Dawg, etc.

Bill Clinton's policies moved jobs overseas. Remember?

Actually The White House hosted BLM members about a month ago. Their meeting ran long and he cleared out extra time to continue speaking with BLM so he has been a positive influence on BLM as well.

He got it wrong on the black professor, Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin. Only one he got it anywhere near right on was Freddie Brown. He helped foster the discontent.

Well, Clinton's, Bush's and Obama's policies moved jobs overseas. Obama is as beholden to Wall St. as the other two.

As POTUS, I would try to bring ALL parties to the table. Not just one.

Who really gives two cents about what celebrities he tries to associate with? Means absolutely nothing about his ability to be a good POTUS.

I think thats fair, he has been a voice.

I'm honestly not sure if anyone can change the economic hardships for lower income black American.

This is my frustration with our political system. A lot of talkers but not many getting core issues resolved.

None of these core issues are quick fixes, but no one seems to ever really come up with a plan. All the current candidates are pandering for votes , but few will come thru with what they promise after 4 years of being in office.

Trump claims he will bring foreign jobs back to America. Imo that will be impossible in 4 years.

Bernie claims free everything for everyone, I just don't see that working.

Hillary has told just about every person in America what they want to hear except a coal miner, I'm willing to bet she barely gets 5% of those promises accomplished in 4 years.

You asked what Obama did for black people and as a black person I told you how a majority of us feel. It doesn't matter if it is right or wrong or if you agree. A black man ascended to the highest point in American society and when he got there he didn't let us down. Period. He was our voice, he was our heart and he will forever be a hero in the black community. We LOVE our POTUS.

So you know how the majority of blacks in America feel?

So you know how the majority of blacks in America feel?

About Obama? Yes.

About most things? Yes.

About most things? Yes.

I highly doubt that.

That's like saying I know how all whites in America feel. I simply don't.

Okay. I didn't expect you to believe me anyways. I'm not even sure why you even asked me. :lol2: :lol2:

Have you spoken to every black person in America?

That's my point. While you think you may know what they think, there's no way to really know.

Seriously...this is how you're going to poke holes in PP92's argument?

Using this method no one could make any assumption on what a large group of people think or believe.

Cap, you would be singlehandedly killing this site. Notably eradicating all of Ref, Jesse James, John Anthony, Lipton Bash's, etcs very speculative posts.

Coming from an admitted Hillary lover.

The defense rests.
