I find it interesting how often some Liberals side with and defend those who purposely harm innocent children.

I certainly don't have much good to say about Jared or his Sub-teen proclivities, but I just don't see that violence against his person is anything to applaud.

 

I'm not a fan of violence, or vigilante justice either. I also don't find it funny that he gets beaten or if even worse things happen to him. But I also don't want him back out on the streets, and don't feel terribly sorry for him either. He hurt and molested kids. I cannot and will not defend that.

If you wanted a serious discussion, maybe you should have gone about it a different way rather than rehashing the same old things from the other thread.

 

Jared has a mental illness so there is no rehabilitation. He will never be better when he leaves..unless he leaves in a body bag.

Good for him. Mr. Cat has been a mental health professional for nearly four decades and he would tell you that it is extremely difficult to rehabilitate a sex offender without intense, and I mean intense therapy with someone who specializes in sex abuse treatment. The odds are not in Jared's favor.

Lead injection therapy works 100% of the time.

I honestly think nothing works for this kind of human. If he had done this to one of my kids, and I was able to get my hands on him, he wouldn't receive beatings. He'd only get one, his last one. Is this violent? You better believe it.

 

I've got to think he opened his mouth or popped off to the wrong individual in the big house. Am I sorry he got beat up? No.

Ditto for me. Had he messed with my daughter, they would have needed to taze me to get me off of him. And even then, it would be a battle.

It's true that it's not easy to rehabilitate sex offenders but it's certainly not impossible. I'm sure, though, that beatings, have never been shown to take away an offender's desire for children. I think probably what you folks are applauding is the sort of action that would be applauded in Iran or Syria. Surely we are more civil than those places, ... aren't we? Again, no love at all for Jared Fogle, just not as violent as some of you folks, I guess.
