I guess my problem with your answers is more about how you want to ignore the violence aspect of what has taken place and Fogle's participation in that violence. You seem to disagree that he is a part of the violence even though as a participant/consumer of the product, he enables and thereby condones the violence being committed upon pre-teen children. I also have my doubts, which you obviously do not share, that he very likely has committed many more crimes than what he has admitted to and very likely with kids much younger than 16. You have more faith in his honesty than I do, obviously.

If a person is watching and paying for kiddie porn, then there is the demand for it and thus a kid will be subjected to awful things. So yeah I think both should be punished in worst possible way.

That is what I have been waiting to read from you. An acknowledgement that takes into consideration the violence aspect and the probability that he has done much worse than having paid for sex with 16 and 17 year olds . I am of the opinion that what he has done makes him a violent offender.

Sister-in-law is a State Police detective who goes after the online sexual predators and the pornography rings. Says that the other victims are the children of these "unsuspecting" scumbags who have to witness their daddy taken away in handcuffs. Not uncommon for said predator to commit suicide when he knows authorities are closing in.

Or, for that matter, what percentage of those who are heavily engaged in viewing porn go on to commit crimes against women? I know Bundy, in a interview with James Dobsen, blamed his extrememly violent and deviant behavior on an addiction to porn. Of course, Terrible Ted was always blaming something or someone other than himself for his actions.

I just pulled up one study done in a state with a huge population and quite a few corrections facilities. Could be more studies like this in other states but didn't have the time to check them all.
