I'll proly just drive the hour and 20 min wednesday and Friday (and Sunday depending on who's playing in the final). Gotta feeling this ncaa tourney is gonna be worth watching. Especially the IU/ UK game on Saturday......and yes, im counting on that game

In the past I've stayed in Georgetown. They have a Holiday Inn, a Hilton, a Hampton. Don't know if the prices jumped up yet

Prices were obscene - $178 a night at Fairfield/Hampton/Comfort Suites in the complex just south of the Circle on Harrodsburg Road where we normally stay..

Found a comparable hotel for $89 a night just off of the CIrcle on Newtown Pike.

Ramada and Days Inn off exit 113 are usually pretty cheap and not far away.

The Sheraton is 5 minutes away. $99 on hotels.com

Super 8 - Lexington Winchester Rd. 15 minutes away from Rupp arena

Embassy suites off new town is nice plus there is a free happy hour every night and free breakfast buffet not to expensive .

I agree with the Embassy Suites option - straight shot in and out of downtown Lex on Newtown Pike. Another option worth considering is the Double Tree off of Richmond Road, but traffic may be a little heavier.

Georgetown ifs a good option. Georgetown road almost gets you right to Rupp.

I'm with the guys that mentioned Embassy suites. I've stayed there before for UK games and it's a straight shot to the rear parking lot. It's not expensive but it's a great hotel. I'd be surprised if it's not booked up though.
