March 12, 201610 yr Xavier Loss to Seton Hall .......and Virginia and UNC and Oregon with big wins......did Xavier fall to a 3 seed? I don't think Virginia and Carolina have any effect on X as both should be 1 seeds. Oklahoma losing doesn't hurt and Oregon is pretty much a lock at 2.
March 12, 201610 yr I've looked at that box score about 10 times. Still can't figure it. How do take 83 field goal attempts and lose? I didn't even know it was possible. I guess some nights they just don't fall but... wow.
March 12, 201610 yr 2 seed, 3 seed, matters not. Unless they get a major break along the way, someone is beating them next weekend. I've been saying it for a while, yesterday was only another example of that. If they aren't making a really high pct from 3, they are really beatable. In big arenas, in big moments, expecting them to do that is asking a lot. @LRCW endorses this message.

March 13, 201610 yr Just goes to prove that Mack isnt ready for the big time programs so many thought he should be out for. I guess the good news is that this lose probably keeps him a X for sure now. Well unless the natives get restless.
March 13, 201610 yr With Seton Hall essentially knocking Nova out of the 1 spot (assuming MSU wins the Big 10) I would say X is probably a 3 now. Although a 2 is still possible.

All Nova falling to a 2 means is a team moves up. I don't think it affects them. It does probably mean they are the bottom 2 .

Was he rude to you at some point? What on Earth does a loss in the semis of his league tourney tell you? Look at a list of coaches nationally that lost in their conference semifinals, they can all coach. This loss does nothing to eliminate him from interest from other schools, and I can PROMISE you, he is not in the vicinity of at risk of being let go. I don't get you with this on-going narrative of yours. I know he can, and has, rub some people the wrong way, but don't let that cloud your judgment on the bigger picture.

Whatever the right (or wide-held) sports opinion is, he takes the polar opposite of it, and takes it to extreme levels.
