Republicans Attack legless Veteran for not Standing Up

On behalf of the Veterans Administration. While the tweet was not good and could have just been a bad choice of phrasing, there's still the whistle blower lawsuit that says she ignored veterans claims of mistreatment and corruption. However the left is real good at muddying the waters to keep the focus off the real issue. JMO.

Obviously it's a poor choice of phrasing, but I still think it's indicative of naked partisanship. I imagine the person who wrote it really didn't know much about Tammy Duckworth and just hashed something out from talking points or just looked at committee assignments or something and did so solely because she is the Democratic candidate. It's opposing someone because they are from the other party then filling in the blanks of why afterwards.

Followed this on through to the OG story. Her record on these affairs were acceptable. She had sponsored action in Congress. Political strategy by a rival of trying to use her strength as her weakness, but turned out to be classless and somewhat baseless.

AMEN!

“It would be great if reporters would pay as much attention to a deleted tweet as they should to Tammy Duckworth being sued by VA whistleblowers for ignoring claims of mistreatment and corruption,”

Of course they'll protect their liberal cronies time and again.

I don't really know much about it, other than reading the story. I COULD NOT RESIST the headline though. :sneaky:

She's a disabled veteran and has made the VA a big part of her career in the Senate. Anyone who knows who she is would know this. Obviously any opponent would try to chip away at her on her biggest issue, but it's also obviously made difficult because you can't do the typical "liberal" thing. That's why I think whoever wrote the thing was doing the "partisanship by the numbers" thing and that's what is so stupid about our politics.

Almost as bad as Biden telling a paralyzed man to stand up isn't it.

They are similar, but this one is worse. Biden didn't attack him for not "standing up" and immediately recognized his mistake and apologized and praised the guy. Sure it was a gaffe though. If you think the Biden gaffe was worse than this, then I question whether your analysis is merely partisanship. Agree to disagree.

One could agrue your partisanship is showing as much as anyone else's.

You're grasping, MF.
