With the season now over, what is Rick Pitino's immediate future as far as coaching goes?

Does he remain at UofL through the end of his contract?

Does he remain at UofL to get them through any upcoming sanctions then retire?

Does he settle with UofL on a buy out and leave peacefully?

-if so, does he immediately take another coaching job?

-if so, what is the most likely job he takes?

Does he get fired by UofL?

Some other future for Coach P?

Pitino will fulfill the remainder of his contract and retire.

I checked that he will remain at UL, length of his contract. There's really no reason for me to feel otherwise given the info that is out at this point. Unless something else surfaces on him with this latest, UL self imposed investigation and penalty or anything new comes up. As far as it seems, he loves it at UL, the Admin. loves him as well as the big boosters and fans. Rick seemed to still enjoy coaching so he remains exactly where he's at. jmo

I think he stays. He can have a very good team next year if Onuaku stays, and during the offseason Spalding gets stronger and Mitchell and Adel improve their ball handling.

Katina Powell, at center of Louisville Cardinals investigation, to meet with NCAA investigators again

Depends upon the NCAA. They may give UL less punishment if he goes away, if so, Jurich will cut ties.

If that were the case, Jurich wouldn't have to cut ties. Pitino would leave on his own.

Pitino out. Mack in and Payne to XU.
