Were any current Beechwood 8th graders at NCC open house?

Featured Replies

Are there any 8th grade kids that played varsity for Beechwood this year, now looking at attending NCC? I heard a rumor today that the NCC open house may have had such a visitor. I was wondering if that was true?

I'm not sure how many they had that age that played varsity. I am a fan who has read on here multiple times that a player would leave Beechwood and end up at Ncc. Beechwood people on here doubted it. I think its a question worth asking.

I'm interested in knowing because it would be sad to see Beechwood lose such a quality player. If it is true, it would be another head scratcher to me.

Yes, Caleb Jefferson was at the NewCath Open House......makes sense since he lives in Newport.

Is he going to NewCath next year............:whistling:

I believe his father was a Juggernaut.

If he lives in Newport I am curious why he is currently at Beechwood?

That's a story that I don't have all the details for so I can't speak on it. However, from what I am told by people close to that situation, he'll be a Bred next year.

I can say with absolute certainty his dad laughs at all you posting with speculation.

It could end up being the case but those who are certain don't really know. His dad does and no one on here knows him that personally.

That could be true. It's all speculation at this point. Of course hearsay only has so much truth to it. Regardless, wherever he ends up, he'll make that program THAT much better.

First things first....can a mod correct the Thread Title? Not Where....It should be Were....but I am very happy you didn't say WAS like one particular poster from Independence. Sorry just a pet peeve of mine.

Secondly, I think we are making too big of a stink about an 8th grader to be quite honest. He has very good skills and a bright future but he is not the next LeBron James. NCC will need him.

Did his dad play at Lloyd in the mid 90s? I remember Lloyd having a really good player on their regional runner up team

I thought everyone was going to holy cross these days.
