February 29, 201610 yr Seriously, now, ( I mean really)) would you trust this guy to lead the country ?
March 1, 201610 yr SF, this is rich even for you...you are backing HRC and you start a thread about trusting other candidates... My guess is you are just messing with us and I shouldn't have taken the bait, but really:lol2:...
March 1, 201610 yr Look guys ScienceFriction is much smarter than we sometimes give him credit. He is bored and started this thread. But trust me, ScienceFriction makes jokes but he really knows that a storm is coming......
March 1, 201610 yr Who do you trust to do what? I don't trust one candidate on either side. In fact, let's expand this beyond the presidential candidates. Name one politician you trust. The only one that comes to mind for me is Paul Ryan.
March 1, 201610 yr I think most trust their local politicians the most, then State level less, and national (as we see from Congressional approval ratings) the worst. Gallup captures the local vs state here: Americans Still Trust Local Government More Than State I really liked my former Democratic State House Rep. Not so much the State Repub Senator. Locals are ... local. They are your neighbors. After that. They are not and the distrust grows.
March 1, 201610 yr I agree most people trust their local politicians. However I believe that just allows them to get away with more shady deals. I trust none of them, I wish I could.

I am with you 75. The reason most people trust their local politicians more is because they pay less attention to them. I don't trust local politicians either. I know too many and know too much about underhanded dealing. It is sad how little I trust politicians. Look at what is happening locally with the new I75 bridge for example. Not a single local politician is fighting for a new bridge. Yet they all seem to be lining up behind that farce of an eastern corridor bridge that will have zero impact on traffic on I75. Why? Because the big money developers who donate big to all the local politicians want the eastern corridor bridge to put more money in their pockets.
March 1, 201610 yr I trust Kasich , I trust Cruz and Rubio , I think I would have trusted O'Malley from what little I heard from him. Not that I agree with every position each one mentioned but I think I could trust them to give adequate leadership to our country and be a marked improvement over the arrogant _____ we currently have in office . There is no 1 perfect candidate . Everyone differs on what would define perfect anyway .
March 1, 201610 yr Of the current candidates, I trust Kasich and Rubio. Who do I trust the least? Clinton and Trump/Cruz. I actually trust Bernie more than those three. We need a poll for this question.
