A bullet?

I don't see him losing the nomination at this point.

Are you kidding, Trump himself said he could commit murder and he'd still have the support of the people. I predict he'll take Rubio out during the next debate. He would have tried this with Jeb but I think Trump knows Bush could take him.

The answer here is Divine intervention. Providence will end this thing for Donald. It will probably happen at a commercial break during one of the remaining debates.

The Donald will be working feverishly on a comb-over and there will be a bolt of lightening out of a clear sky. The Donald will become crispy almost instantaneously. A thunderous voice will be heard to say, "You're fired!" Since it happened during the comb-over, Science Friction and MayfieldFan can maintain it had nothing to do with God but can easily be explained as a rare occurrence of extreme static electricity. They will try to reproduce this effect in an experiment to show that it can be explained by natural causes. MayfieldFan is handed a comb by Science Friction and told to start combing since his avatar has more hair to work with.

As the Donald's family gathers around him, they can be heard to mumble, "At least we don't have pay to have him cremated", his wife cannot wipe the smile off her face and is spotted dialing her attorney and asking how soon the will can be read.

Afterward, in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulus, a tearful Ted Cruz says he is thankful for answered prayer. When asked for his opinion, Ben CArson just stands there looking sheepish. BGP crashes and is down for three days as posters are in a frenzy...

This is pretty funny and I know it was meant in jest. I would like it if the like button was around. However, just as an fyi if there was actual evidence, I would just change my mind.

^ Yep, this was meant in jest. I posted it for my own amusement and hoped others might find it enjoyable, especially you and ScienceFriction.

Ben Carson just stands there looking sheepish...

I'm just hoping this opens up the door for a 3rd party to start to make some inroads.

How about the Bull-Moose party? Last president from this party had the country out of debt and in a world of good. As much as could be had. Yes I know times and situations change, but it is possible.

Just look at the voting to date--Trump--"outsider, non-politician", Cruz--"party outsider", Carson--"non-politician, outsider". Total their vote to see where the Rep. electorate really is--National party just doesn't get it and will end up handing the election to HRC, just like they did Obama in 2012.

Conservatives & right leaning independents don't have a home in politics! It's a choice between Hard Left "Progressives" (can't call themselves liberals any longer) and Democrat Lite (Rep. Party). Very close to single party rule.

Chuck Todd said this morning that to get in the Ballot as an independent candidate in Texas someone must file tomorrow. I didn't check that just going off what he said, but point is this splinter of Bloomsberg/Romney III may happen tomorrow with Trump as the Republican but the establishment behind the "New Republicans". :idunno:

That'll work very well?

That'll work very well?

From last night I just get the sense they will just take it away from him. As Carson and Kasich drop the delegates they win will be thrown told to vote for one of the other guys. It would be then too late for Teump to get on the ballot in some states. Republicans could railroad him two ways.

In all honesty a third party candidate like Bloomberg needs to run. They may win. None of this base voting for Trump would vote for Rubio/Cruz takeover. This group largely hates HRC, so if this candidate could pull that group and some democrats: 40% or less might win the general election.

If it wasn't Trump it would be someone else.

Career politicians need to move on an get new jobs. I'm a longtime voter who is just tired of the same old same.

If the dems had a Trump like candidate, HRC would be getting killed by that canidate. There's still an old guard of hard working Americans that don't like the way things are done no matter what party the president belongs to.

I'm really having trouble deciding which is more annoying: Trump himself, or Trump haters.

Look, I think Trump has a TON of flaws. And I hate to be the guy to say it, but if he wins (which after last night is absolutely possible), we have to toughen up, deal with it, and be thankful we still live in America, the freest and greatest country on God's green earth.

I feel like we're on an episode of Fear Factor. It's come down to eating the nastiest stuff. Trump or whomever the Dems nominate (most likely HRC). So now we have to hold our nose and vote. Some of us just can't stomach either of those options.
