Agreed. The kid moves so quickly laterally then accelerates. It looks very fluid and natural. It will be interesting at RB this year.

Bluebird fans, please quit letting UK fan get your panties in an uproar. I am not a Highlands alum but I definitely respect the Highlands football program and tradition they have built. I believe most posters on here do to. Don't worry, SK is getting better, but they will never win a 6A title. I also don't believe any NKY 6A team will win a state championship. Just can't compete with the big Louisville schools which has been proven time and again. Again, let him have his Ruby fetish moments. UK is the type of guy that you meet in a bar and just want to punch him in the face, but it isn't worth going to jail over. Keep winning the State titles in what ever class you are in and be proud of it. UK just lays in bed just wishing SK had the tradition of Highlands? I'm just one person that is tired of reading his BS and wanted to let it finally be known.

 

Really trying not to think about what UK does while he is lying in his bed at night thinking about SK football....just saying.

Highlands lost a stud running back, a D1 qb, their strongest football player, one of their best guards ever, one od their best Dlineman, the lost their punterkicker and one of their best dbs. If all thoughs players they was an average team. I just don't see this years team going over .500 not enough size, talent or weapeons.

 

A losing record, really? Highlands hasn't had one of those since 1955.

Why is this year any different that the past 4? The QB that steps in has had little to no varsity experience going all the way back to Donovan McCoy.

 

I would be curious to know who all is competing for the job this year. I realize that Gosney is the frontrunner, but believe he plays baseball if I am not mistaken. Johnston needs to change positions and get on the field because he has talent to be successful somewhere. Schoellman would be next in line and my question is whether or not he plays baseball still as well. And then you have the young kid Cramer. Not sure if baseballer or not and if the latter he could greatly benefit from spring snaps.

 

Better question might be if the QB of the future resides in the current 8th grade class. Curious to see how that gets sorted out over the next year or two.
