The more I listen to candidates like Trump and Cruz on Fox Sunday Morning, the more convinced I am that the GOP establishment will try to hijack the Cleveland convention and nominate someone other than the five men currently running for president.

I've never been a Trump supporter, but I might just have to switch. I've recently seen that Rev. Sharpton, Whoopie Goldberg and one of the other loud voices on the View have pledged to leave the US for good if Trump is elected?

Its hard to hijack something when you cant get the American people to vote for the establishment candidate.

Thanks for making it real clear for me. You keep saying that Trump embodies a revolution the likes of which we haven't seen before. I'll be convinced when his audiences no longer resemble a WWE crowd and he actually receives endorsements from people who are less nutsy than Sheriff Joe, Tony Soprano Christie and the Alaska Snowbilly herself.

As an addendum to the above post, add former KKK grand wizard David Duke to the list. Voting for anyone other than Donald Trump “is really treason to your heritage," Duke said last week.

Now this is a great post! Dont be mad, just leave. I think maybe California's Frisco area would be a good landing spot.

Call me cynical as to Mr Trump and Sen Sanders candidacies having bettered the process. Some benefits, sure, but overall it's still a TBD for me.

 

I am always glad to see young folks get involved. We saw it in 2008.

 

However, it's way too early to say whether we will realize any positive change.

 

While there's always room for bettering the parties and how they govern I'm not sure having Mr Trump as the face of the party is a good thing.

 

Then you have Mrs Clinton and her complete fiasco of a public life. Is that a good thing?

 

Maybe the positive is we'll all have a "what the frick frack jack is going on here" moment should it end up those two as the nominees.

 

Until then, I'm cynical Trump and Sen Sanders have given us many long-term or short-term positives.
