I think there has been a 6A Quarterback that has been overlooked in this discussion.

Adam Bouchard Daviess County

Adam Bouchard, Adam Bouchard - Hudl,

 

Career Stats. 4610 passing yards, 53 TD’s 209.5 yards per game & 271 rushing yards & 4 TD’s…. He looks and plays the part of a Quarterback that can play at the next level 6’2 180 … Strong arm, good feet, speed and keeps his eyes down field, a very good athlete both in Football and Track & Field.

 

This next year will be a true test for him losing his O line, top Receiver and running back. Anyone who seen him play, knows he has something special to add for his team, the kid is a winner at all time and does not give up.

 

He is someone to keep an eye on this coming year.

Rex Henderson of Butler County probably has the best opportunity to single handly win games and control the outcome of his team's success. The Bears wins and Losses will probably will be the biggest factor in his inclusion in this conversation. But remember, this is a guy that dominated games. Henderson threw for 32 touchdowns, Rushed for 20 touchdowns, and returned two int's for a touchdown. 3021 yards passing, 909 rushing, and 5 int's on defense. I wonder how many guys mentioned above have had that kind of impact with those kind of stats both offensively and defensively. I'm not saying he will win the Mr. Football or is better than those other guys, just pointing out the impact that he has on each game he is playing in.

I'm not sure, I would try the KHSAA site to start, they have a lot of historical information. Other small school winners I remember were Dennis Johnson for Harrodsburg and Antonio ? from Fort Campbell who ended up at WKU. Also if you go back far enough I believe Frank Jacobs from Newport Catholic won it back in the mid 80's.
