Xavier 90 Villanova 83

Man, it is impossible to talk about that game without pointing out the play that JP Macura made to rip the rebound away from Jenkins, flip it to a teammate, and ultimately created Jenkins' 5th foul. Just an amazing play.

Fun, fun game.

Nice to see Xavier having such a great season.

I know there's still a lot of games left to be played but has Xavier ever been a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament?

Great win for X congrats to their fans on here.

Loved that they didn't storm the court!

Their best seed ever in the tournament is a #3.

Obviously a fantastic win for X. Wish this wasn't at the same time as a Louisville game so I could've seen more of it.

Didn't know anything about that Macura guy; really impressive. Normal game for him or was a 19-point night a real surprise?

That is his normal style of play (high energy, annoying to the opposition, shoots the three and attacks the rim), but 19 points is more than one would have expected.

Love it! Have always liked X and glad to see them doing well. Hopefully they don't cross paths with Carolina.

Bigs came to play and Muskies had 24 assists against 10 turnovers. Great ball game.

Fantastic atmosphere.

The seats my wife picked out happened to be a suite type deal. Free food and beer work for me! :lol2:

X is very good. Just a lot a fun to watch. They're a legit contender this season folks.

Oh and it's time to wonder if Sumner and Trevon decide to take their talents to the league next season....Weak draft class, stock may never be higher....

JP early and late, Sumner was strong. I'll give it to Nova they are never out with the threes. Reynolds needs to chill a bit, we know you are bbad but don't hurt your team.

With a better than decent postseason, and his size, Sumner would be gone.

Macura has been around a 10ppg average all season. So a 19pt game, or a 2pt game aren't out of the realm of possibilities. Max effort though is always there.

I thought that Nova looked like the team a lot of doubters say they are. Get punched in the mouth and have physical defense and they look scrambled and panicked. X has depth and wore down Nova as well as got them into foul trouble.

I would take X making it further than Nova in the tourney because X can beat you in different ways. X is a Final 4 team and I don't have to think twice about it.
