Boyle shot the ball really well 53% to Dan. 49. Danville's % was skew because the subs at the end of the game didn't miss.

Strong all around game by the Rebels. Limited turnovers, efficient offense and strong defense. Best game the Rebels have had all season.

Did some turnovers come late in the game? 18 still seems a little high for my liking. Not sure if we can survive in the region next week vs anyone giving them the ball an extra 18 possessions. On a positive note glad to see the Rebs win the most important game of the year!

My fault. They had 18 turnovers. I guess it is better said that they didn't have turnovers at bad times. :lol2:

A lot of times the team's would trade turnovers and they canceled each other out on more than one occasion.

Yes. But fortunately Boyle was up by as many as 29 and it didn't get under 20 until it turned into a JV game. Boyle played a really solid game, and still haven't played their best ball yet. Get another shot vs Lincoln Friday night.

Straight beat down. Elkins made them fear coming in the lane, and when they did he made Danville force up a crazy shot. I've never seen an Ed Mckinney coached team this bad on defense, they couldn't guard NOBODY. Danville loses its top 6 players next year, so I would think a few down years are coming for Danville.

This was the worst game that I saw Danville play all year. Shooting from beyond five feet was suspect and the team could not throw the ball in the ocean from the free throw stripe. Boyle did a great job making halftime adjustments by pressuring out of a zone when Danville crossed half court and the Ads could not figure it out. This makes it five years in a row that Danville will not be in the Region tournament and as a fan it makes me sick.

And I wonder if McKinney will be the coach with his son graduating. I hope he remains since coaching turnover has plagued the Danville program for a long time.
