Who should make the All BGP Team for the 2015-16 season

Darius Williams

That's my all state team with Carson Williams as my Player of the Year. David Sloan, James Boone, Tyler Sharp, Taiveon Hollingsworth, Terry Tayor and Caleb Taylor all deserve plenty of consideration in my book and I could see why other people would pick them.

Good list!

I would move Taiveon Hollingsworth of Dunbar on the list ahead of his teammate Darius Williams. In fact, I would probably put Dunbar's Jordan Lewis ahead of Williams as well. JMO

Statistically Hollingsworth should get it over Williams but I feel like Williams is a huge part of their success beyond stats. Just how I feel

Coming into the season I was very high on Williams, but having watched Dunbar several times I'm convicned Hollingsworth is their best player, and I think he is worthy of a spot on the All-State Team

Blake Smith from Clay County is as good as any guard out there. His numbers will stack against anybody's and he does it on Both ends of Floor.

21 ppg, 4.2 ast, 2.9 stls, 2.4 blks and 3.6 reb. He is shooting over 56 percent from field and over 41 percent from 3. While also guard the best player from opponents team. He simply cant not be guarded 1 on 1.

Terrell Carter, a junior for Letcher Central, is averaging 28 ppg this year. Many say he is the best player in the 14th region. I haven't seen him this year but those that have rave about how good he is. Maybe some other BGP members have seen him and can give us more insight. I'll see him in the region at Knott Central and will have more info on him.

I know his numbers are not setting the basketball world on fire, but I believe Will Hager belongs on this list. The leadership he exhibits on the floor is unlike any I've seen at this level. If need be, he can drive the lane and finish with ease, but that is not always what his Mercer county team needs from him. He is, in my opinion, the most valuable player, on a team full of great talent. On most teams, Will would average in the 20s in scoring, still get the boards and assists he does now, but he would stand out. Just hard to stand out, when you find yourself surrounded by great players!
