Yes creech was 44-45 last night in the two games they played but they won 86-7 and 111-21. If etown had these margin of scores and Boley was left in to score points everyone would be having a fit!

 

Boley deserves it, she could be national player of the year but not voted the best senior in her own state....

There is no way that it is not Erin Boley. She may start for Notre Dame, a matter of fact I think she will. She averaged 20ppg in the best AAU circuit in the country. Has a chance to be drafted in my opinion. What Whitney has done is crazy good, but she is not near the player Erin is.

She scored 93 in a game where they beat the team by 80!!! The same team they beat by 79 (86-7) the game before!! Why is she in the game and why is she taking so many shots in a game up 80???

It explains that I don't follow girl's basketball...at all. But, I know who Whitney Creech is, who she plays for, that she has almost 5,300 points and that she was on SportsCenter. That's all I'm saying. I know nothing about Boley and I'm sure she's a fine basketball player. @PurplePride92 is a little shady but I'll take everyone else's word for it :lol2:

 

I get it. You dont follow girls basketball. I know that there are several people who love boys basketball and could totally care less about the girls side of things. Thats fine, I really don't care. But the reality is that the girls side has been far more successful in this state then the boys side of things...at least in terms of national rankings and division 1 players. I dont care if you don't follow the girls side, but it's pretty offensive to suggest "because you know a girls name" she should win miss basketball.

 

Erin Boley is maybe the best girls player to ever come out of the state of Kentucky. She literally could play anywhere in America. She is hands down the best basketball player in the state. It's not even close. If you want to make the argument that miss basketball is a high school basketball award and not a "who is the better at basketball" award then maybe you could make an argument for creech. She's had a great career full of mind boggling individual stats. But don't suggest that creech should win the award "because you know here name" or because "she's been on sportscenter." It's degrading and offensive to those who follow the womens side of things in this state.

I knew you followed the Boy's side closely, but am surprised that you aren't involved or interested in the girl's. Fair enough, but because of that thought you were having fun with some people on here.

It's not that I have anything against girl's basketball, it's just that I don't have time to do anything more. The boy's side is already more than I can handle.

 

I understand why some people don't like the girls game. Most men that get into the girls side do so because they have a daughter that plays or have a friend or family member that plays. Once you watch the girls for a while you learn to love and appreciate the game for what it is. Most continue to follow even after their daughters/family members are out of it.

 

I apologize for coming off so abrasive. I find a lot of people who think the boys side is better and it struck a nerve. I love both sides, but would not have ever watched a girls game if it wasn't for a family member
