Can he get a contract worth $400M?

 

Way too early IMO. While he does do well in the field, 2015 was his only first truly excellent year at the plate. I think he needs to prove he can keep that up before he gets a massive contract that's $200+ million let alone $409 million.

Why stop at $400, go for $500 mill it's just money.

There are some that speculate that 400 million may not be enough to get it done.

If I was running a team, not sure I would go over $210-$220m... These players just are not worth it.

Pretty much every one of these contracts is horrible on the back end. Hamstringers.

I remember when Magic Johnson signed a 25 year $25Million contract and people lost their minds...a lot of people thought that the Lakers had way over paid.

I'd let him prove it first, he can't leave till 2019.
