Saint X/Scott County Scrimmage

Featured Replies

I thought St. X O-line looked good, I know they lost some starters but I think as a whole they might be better in the long run then they were last year.

Scott Co: Showed some great plays, but then let X take advantage of some huge plays.

Scott plays Trinity this Sat right? I hope to be there!

What time is it? I haven't heard for sure yet. Hopefully I will get to make the trip to Louisville.

Jack is playing DE, is in the top 4 rotation, and is performing very well.

Thanks Ox!:thumb:

Now that we've had our normal "What's up with the pebbles?" interlude, let's get back to the thread topic, St. X. vs. Scott Co.

Personally, I was very impressed with Scott County's OL and DL play, as well as their running backs. It was also obvious, however, that as Sports Fan 4 has already pointed out, the loss of Haddix has had a big impact on the Cardinals passing attack, as well as pass defense. The road has gotten a little tougher with the loss of that young man, but I think Coach McKee and staff will develop another alternate.

You should be too busy watching Scott Co. at the landfill to worry about seeing an X scrimmage. :D

Worry ??? about what. Always love to watch good high school football!! are your scrimmages closed? landfill?? where is that? please excuse my ignorance.

But again any feedback on where, when and what time?? Maybe, another St. x fan can enlighten us.

Its this Friday and must be at Oldham, my calender doesnt have the time--I'll find out though.

The scrimmage is Friday evening.

Thanka for the correction. I should be able to come.

Yes he is hurt, but will back, in not all that long.

I also was told by a very, very close source to Tiger football, that Deuce will be the best back that X has ever produced.....

With Tendai, and Vic in company, that's impressive.

Wow, that would be pretty impressive... Tendai ran for four (4) TD's against the weeds in the Rout of '95 (St. X 40 - Trinity 0). I think all surpurlatives are warrented AFTER, the achievement has been accomplished......

I'm not sure where Jody Demling got his blog information, but it is wrong. We will be scrimmaging Oldham County and not North Hardin.

He probably got it from Trinity..........

In the varsity part of the scrimmage, it was St. X. with four (4) TD's (Anderson, Hall, Simmons, and Zoeller) and Scott Co. with two (2) TD's (one on a 1 yd. run after a nice drive, and one on a fumble return for a touchdown)

In the one Qtr. of JV play it was tied at one TD apiece.

By the way, the TD's stand for touchdowns and not Tony Danzas. :D

St. X could use four TD's ;)

But can ANYONE handle four?
