26th is career pass completion %

Career QBR is good for 50th All Time

Zero All-Pro teams

Only Five of 12 seasons at .500

Less TD passes than Brad Johnson, Jon Kitna, Chris Chandler, Steve McNair, Mark Brunell, Jim Everett and many other so so QBs

Regardless, this is about playoffs. In '92, 68.5% completion percentage, 795 yards, 8 TDs 0 INTs.

'93, 74.4% completion percentage 686 yards, 5 TDs 3 INts.

'95, 66.3, for 717 4 Tds, 1 INT.

Passer ratings of 126.4, 104, 106.1

With that running game, he as more than good enough. On top of that, their defense was just as good as Tampa Bay's in '92 and '93.

Joe Montana for comparison during his 4 Super Bowl Runs

'81 - 63.6 for 747 yards, 6 Tds and 4 INts for a 94.3 rating

'84 - 62.0 for 873 yards 7 TDs and 5 INTs for a 89.8 rating

'88 - 62.2 for 823 yards 8 TDs and 1 INT for a 117 rating

'89 (this is stupid) - 78.3 for 800 yards, 11TDs and 1 INT for a 146.4 rating.

This makes no sense. That 86 team was stacked. Much of the 90 defense was younger and better on the 86 team.

The 90 team barely won because the Bills kicker missed wide right at the end of the game. The 86 team dominated.

Not to mention the miracle they pulled off at Candlestick with Reasons fake punt run and LT's kind of lucky strip of Roger Craig.

I completely agree with you.

I love watching highlights of the 90 team simply because they won it with a back up QB. But the 86 team isn't getting the credit they deserve, at least in this list.

I'd like to hear their reasoning. I'd put the 86 teams as one of the best ever.

I wasn't knocking the Cowboys, just calling out that Aikman is a weak HoFer

Out of all the teams its hard to argue the 72 undefeated Dolphins regardless of stats, schedule or what they would have done in certain eras they went undefeated in the NFL that's amazing and worth being #1 period.

Pretty fair numbers.

Aikman in the playoffs was the ultimate game manager on steroids. I hated it, but he was outstanding during those SB runs.

The '79 Steelers did not perform as well as the '78 Squad but they are marked 32 spots better? :ohbrother:

Yeah, that didn't look right at all. I'd argue '78 was No. 1. As great as the cast of the '79 team was, they struggled to put away a weak Rams team QB'd by Vince Freakin' Ferragamo.
