I don't believe the fines they are supposed to be imposing are having their desired effect.

Not all teams that put stats in put complete ones in.

My point exactly as there are teams that are just putting in their team total stats and not individuals and maybe meeting the minimum input to avoid fines? I would be curious to know if any schools have paid fines to KHSAA yet. I know not too long after the season started I received an email from the AD through the head coach reminding me to input the stats on the website so that our school could avoid the fines being imposed....or are they?

No clue. I know of one school that hasn't put in stats this season and I'm pretty sure they didn't last season. Not sure if they have been fined or not though.

Last year they could ask for permission to not post if they had no one that did stats for the team.

Hmmm. I didn't know that. I'm 100% sure this school could have gotten someone to keep stats for them. They have the resources. I'd be interested in knowing if they made that request.

I agree in today's game someone would do stats if asked.

Find the father of the best player on the team. He'd be all over it. :lol2:

Yes they would and their son would be in the stat leaders.

2 schools that jump out to me that haven't entered stats are Southwestern and Henry Clay. Not sure the story on SW, but Henry Clay's stats are done by WL Stats, so they are available.

Kentucky School for the Deaf is shown as the state's defensive leader, while playing other Schools for the Deaf from all over the Southeast. They have played only four bona-fide members of the KHSAA, where they have given up an average of 54.8ppg in sizable losses to Berea, Walden, St. Francis, and Red Bird, completely nullifying their lofty ranking and making them bogus in the grand scheme of things.

I find it interesting that Carson Williams is not in the rebounding leaders. I assume it is an oversight.

Carson averages 10.5 rebounds per game according to Owen County's page, so he's just outside the rankings listed in the stats leaders. I thought the same, since I figured he was averaging a double-double.

Thanks for the info!
