January 19, 201610 yr Author So for us NKY folks---snow coming on Wednesday----timing for that? And more snow on Thursday night into Friday? Thanks! Around 7-8 am may have an 2 inches on the ground by the afternoon.
January 19, 201610 yr Author I am so dreading Wednesday. I have a meeting I absolutely, positively have to be at the resort for. I have no dog sitter, so I can't spend the night. It's going to be a long, miserable drive to and ffrom. I'll be posting updates whenever possible.
January 19, 201610 yr I'll be posting updates whenever possible. Thank you. I'll be leaving the house around 6am. I always check here before I leave when I know it's going to be bad. From the looks of your maps, there will be no way for me to avoid the worst. It's worst exactly along every route I have available to me.

January 19, 201610 yr Author Here's some interesting information. I just checked the WPC and the following map shows a part of Kentucky that has a 10% chance of at least 4" of snow on Wednesday. This is pretty much the same area I was calling for 2-4" of snow. I'll update early in the morning. I wouldn't be surprised to see either a winter weather advisory or winter storm watch go up sometime tomorrow.

You should be ok tomorrow. Maybe be some lake effect snow in Cleveland early Tuesday. As of now I think we will see snow mostly all day Wednesday. I'll post road updates for I-71 Wednesday.
January 19, 201610 yr How bad is this weekend looking? February 2015 bad or just bad? @nWo will have the real answer, but what I'm seeing as of right now, it looks Feb 2015 bad or worse for some areas of the state in terms of snowfall. Early forecasts for the Ashland area are showing 12-22" of snow by Saturday afternoon from what I'm seeing. Looks as if there may be some high winds/white out conditions on the eastern half of the state and into West Virginia.

January 19, 201610 yr :scared: I'm not buying that until Thursday night! :lol2: I'll touch base with you then... I don't buy it either hah. But honestly that's what weather underground and the weather channel apps are both showing for the Ashland area. I imagine it will change daily until the day it arrives though. I'll wait on nWo's forecast to really get a feel for what we are in store for.
