January 19, 201610 yr Author @nWo will have the real answer, but what I'm seeing as of right now, it looks Feb 2015 bad or worse for some areas of the state in terms of snowfall. Early forecasts for the Ashland area are showing 12-22" of snow by Saturday afternoon from what I'm seeing. Looks as if there may be some high winds/white out conditions on the eastern half of the state and into West Virginia. I don't know about that much snow or blizzard conditions yet. Nothing I use is showing anything of that nature right now.
January 19, 201610 yr Author Early Tuesday morning update: From Wednesday to Thursday I'm seeing a wide spread 2-4" across entire state. The area between Owensboro, Elizabethtown and Bowling Green could see up to 5". The snow may fall at a rate of 1" per hour in some parts of the state. The possible freezing rain in WKY and parts of south central KY could cut into the accumulation totals in that area. This area includes all of WKY then to about Madisonville and Bowling Green the freezing rain accumulations look to be around 0.01" I'll try and do another update before I leave for work if there is any new info. Also I will update throughout the day today when I can. Stay weather aware and plan now for the upcoming winter weather event.

January 19, 201610 yr Can you leave work early or do you have to stay the whole day? I already leave at about 6am. I can try, but Washington and rural Orange Co roads don't get much attention, so I always worry about how dark it is, because on some of those windy, hilly roads it's bad with far less snow than we're forecast. I hope to be able to leave early, but the meeting is with the people who are developing a system we're going to be interfacing with, so I'm not sure it will be possible.
