Toothpaste...brand loyal? Crest, Colgate, something else?

Featured Replies

Had to get some toothpaste last night and while perusing the aisle looking at all the different brands/types I got to thinking about this question. I know some people are fiercely brand loyal about some things and was wondering if the same applies to toothpaste. I am a Crest guy myself though occasionally will get Colgate Total. Last night I got the Crest Pro Health advanced...usually get Crest Complete but wanted to try this offering in their lineup.

So do you have a brand you are loyal to...and even a type within that brand?

"What's toothpaste"?

Signed, Everyone from West Virginia.

Has to be Crest 3D.

Someone in the household bought Colgate recently. We tried for a couple weeks, finally threw it out.

Made everything you drank or ate for the next couple hours taste sour. Don't mess with my morning D.Coke from McDs

I just use whatever my wife buys. Seems like it changes quite often. Not sure what her method is, maybe whatever is on sale.

Small bit of trivia; The toothbrush was actually invented in West Virginia. If not, it would have been called a teethbrush.

Crest and only Crest.

I was raised by a P&G dad. It's Crest in this house. Any variety, but it must be Crest.

Colgate Total since came on market (and other complete brands prior to this one)......45+ years and no cavities.

If you are not using an ADA approved toothpaste, basically either Colgate Total or Crest Pro Health, you need to switch!
