This is the same thing I call him. I too was hoping to see more of the bench tonight.

Hey gs, have been missing you on here. So glad to see you posting !

Alex Poythress after the win; funny comment at the end:

Understatement of the year - I am pretty sure that camp Cal has helped this team.

Now having stated that and aside from the obvious great game that Ulis had, I was really pleased with the Defense and Rebounding tonight as well as how everyone played hard, with desire. Going all out and busting it on D and the Boards makes up for some of the mistakes.

I was also very glad to see Skal actually go after a ball, not concerned if he was going to be pushed around. One time he and an opposing player both had a hold on the ball and for maybe the first time Skal didn't let go and back off, he took possession of the ball by pulling it away from the opponent. Yes, he has a long way to go but tonight Skal at least showed signs of coming out of it (passive, timid play).

I hate that D, Hawkins was injured and hope that he can return soon, imo he helps this team with his experience, leadership.

I still saw some bad ft shooting but this team is going to be fine and by seasons end will be a big factor in the tourney. Overall an excellent effort by all and very well played game tonight.

On to a big road test at LSU on Tues., will have to find an answer for Simmons.

X-rays were negative on Dominique Hawkins. He's day-to-day

Maybe it's just me hoping the best for the kid but it seems to me Cal grades Willis a little more tougher than some of the other players.

We don't know how he looks in practice, maybe Cal thinks he has more of a tendency to let up more , not play as hard as some others. I don't know but it does seem that he is riding him a lot.

Starting SEC play is what helped this team tonight.

The win over Louisville kick started greatness.

Starting SEC play is what helped this team tonight.

I think that the SEC will be a much better conference this season. Ole Miss is well coached but pretty much a one man team. U.K. stopped Moody all of the first half and most of the second. Games vs. A&M, Vandy, LSU and a couple of others will tell a more than this one. jmo.

And as far as the SEC, South Carolina is 13-0 and Texas A&M is 11-2. Two solid teams.

LSU has the best player and worst coach in the country but they will surely be good Tuesday vs. Kentucky.

Alabama is 9-3 and will be a test on the road.

Ulis was so good, the back to back steals were awesome.

Andy Kennedy wants an invite to Camp Cal :lol2:

Hes such a good point guard and HS players should watch him. He creates for his teammates and still gets his. Finishes well for such a small guy and goes all out on D.

I really enjoy watching him.
