So far it is going about the way I thought it would. Ohio State is way better than many want to admit and Notre Dame, once again is/was over hyped.

 

So I guess Michigan State was overhyped since they also got pounded in their bowl game? I think Notre Dame proved they weren't over hyped by nearly beating Clemson on the road. They just happen to be playing a team like Bama who is most talented and out to make a statement.

I agree 100%. I understand trying to protect players, but it's become an absolute joke they've wimped up the game.

They earned their way in, but I.M.O. they were top ten, not top 4.

Absolutely, hopefully his brother next year will be a tad smarter. Sam Hubbard isn't a huge drop off he will be great next year.

I liked Hubbard in High school, as A linebacker. I too think he will be a big-time player on the line.

I agree it should be a penalty. But he did not him high at all. There are many more things he could have done more dangerous than that that would have not got him tossed out. I guaranty the QB would have rather taken that hit to the chest than have Bosa dive at his knees...and he would have not been thrown out for that. I don't have a problem with throwing out a guy who is head hunting. But it seems like every game a guy gets thrown for a hit that is not that bad. It seems like the refs WANT to throw guys out IMO.
