A Christmas Story

Featured Replies

Watch the abomination that is A Christmas Story 2, then watch the original. Seems like Citizen Kane by comparison.

Watched it a few times last night and couldn't get through it without thinking about @Randy Parker's treasure trove of screenshots from the movie. :lol2:

Randy on Christmas morning has some great lines.

"Hey Look! That's mine!"

"Whoopee, a Zeppelin!"

Then the shot of him passed out in the wrapping paper is hilarious too.

Again, Randy makes the film.

His arms-akimbo angst is evocative of Brando in Streetcar. The scene beneath the sink as he ponders his brother's fate is positively heart-rending.

I can't get enough of it. I'm already counting the days.

With all due respect, you're suspended.

I'm currently watching it as I type this....and will watch Christmas Vacation next. It's a time honored tradition in our home!

Watching it now as I'm getting ready to try to go sleep, early for me!
