Augusta by 5 if big 4 all show up and score double figures. Connor Maddox has been playing like a top player in region just finds a way to score and make others better. Also he only shoots 90 % in fieldhouse.

I can't lie, I'm really shocked that everyone is picking Mason Co to win and some to win big. Figured most would pick Augusta.

Gonna be a interesting night for the Kirk family as he Coaches his almamalter but his children go to Mason County along with some of his other family members work within the MC school district.

He plays well in the fieldhouse. Is his shooting percentage really 90% or was that free throw percentage? Or he takes 90% of the Panthers shots? 90% is pretty vauge. If he goes off for 30 and nobody else puts up very many points then it will be a long night for A-town. They need a balanced scoring attack to be succesful.

With that said I take Mason Co by 10-12 pts 60-49.

Augusta needs Crawford to have a big game, I believe that he is the X factor for them...underrated player

Pig on the ball defense will force other guys to step up for sure!

I'm sticking with my Panthers in this one despite most predicting their demise. Once again senior leadership and experience will play a role. Playing at the Fieldhouse is nothing new for Augusta. They have lots of experience on this floor and won't be intimidated by it or the Royals. The Panthers are 6-2, the Royals are 6-1. Should be a good one. So happy to be court side to see this one!

MC by 10, more athletic. Who contains Pig ?

Just depends on which Mason Co team shows up. If it's the team that played Scott they'll win by 10+, if it's the team that played Simon Kenton or Bracken then it'll be a dog fight.

I think this goes for both teams in this one, if the Mason teams shows up that played Bracken Augusta can take this one by 6 but at the same time if the Augusta team that played Pendleton Co shows up Mason will win by 10. Should be a very interesting night at the Feildhouse just glad I get to take this one in.

With all said in my previous post I think both teams come tonight with their A game and both are very prepared for one another, but I think Mason takes this one by 5 71-66 will be up 2 or 3 until the end and Augusta has to foul to try and get ball back. This is another great 39th match-up before Christmas. In the big picture of it all tho this game is just another game and will have no impact on either of these teams come the end of Feb. I think the only losers in this game tonight will be the people who can't make the game

Agreed. December matchups don't show everything. It will only truly matter in February, when someone goes home!

Explain to me how shooting 9/20 from 3 isn't a good showing against Bracken. Mason will be lucky to shoot even close to that the rest of the season.

They played poorly all game, if they didn't shoot 9/20 they lose. They played good enough to win and that was it.

Explain how they played poorly... Pig Williams had a career night in scoring. Nearly shot 50% from deep. Plus out rebounded the Polar Bears. I think some Mason fans are afraid to admit how well the Bears contested their team.

I've watched 5 of the 7 games they've played this year, it was not a well played game for them. I'm not afraid to say the Bears contested them because they did, but some Polar Bear fans have also told me it was the best game they played all year.
