Campbell County 53 Montgomery County 50

I've always found it interesting about message boards the tendency to skew negative about a team or coach and then when something happens that disproves that negativity the response isn't "good for so and so..." it is well, the other team is weak...or good thing they didn't play such and such. So it is a no win situation. It makes message boards fun to read but seems unfortunate we skew so negative, myself included sometimes.

I've seen it happen a lot but really evident with CC here. Maybe the coaches or players made adjustments? Maybe they didn't...but for one night it looks like they did. Good win for the Camels. Montgomery County will recover. 10th is going to be fun this year. It is there for the taking.

Wilson is matchup nightmare for most 10th region teams.

If the CC guards can control the tempo and make sure Wilson gets quality touches they will be hard to handle. Moco had no answer for him.

The offence will flow much better for the other CC kids when Wilson gets touches.

The 10th is loaded with average to good teams. No one has really separated themselves from the pack of contenders.

Good win for CC but I believe MoCo was ranked too highly early. It's just wide open in the 10th

Imo there's about 9 teams that can win it right now.

They should count their blessings. :lol2:

agree. #gauntlet

Bus ride home won't be so long, or cold with that win. Balance of power in 10th hasn't clearly been identified yet.

That will be one celebratory trip back to CC. Good ending to a rough week. Remember I said before the game they needed to use some of those players from last year's Freshman team. Shake up the lineup. They played hard and held their lead. Good work guys.

I was told Campbell County made a lineup change tonight.

Regardless, big win for the Camels on the road.

I said before the game they needed a lineup change. They looked like a different team than the one that played Dixie. Camels worked harder tonight.

The Camels definitely made a lineup adjustment that got them hitting. I'm not second guessing, I hoped they would make a change tonight and they did. I picked them to win in the poll. Before the game ever started.

So it looks like CC had a lineup change. What was it? Can't be a big secret. And 4 points from Art Walker, the best shooter in the 10th region? Shooters find a way.

I liked the lineup change, but don't think it was the reason for the victory. Wilson inside WAS!!! Not only from a scoring perspective, but he had a huge rebounding game as well. Camels will have a mediocre year if they don't hand him the ball every time down the court. Last night much better focus on getting him the ball

No, scorers find a way. Shooters have off nights. Art Walker is the best SHOOTER in the 10th. Art Walker is NOT the best scorer in the 10th.

As far as the lineup change...Tanner Clos started in place of Gideon Measner.

Nice clarifacation. Cut me some slack though, it was 3:39am!!

All good, my friend...all good.

Wow! A 101 posts on a thread after Campbell Co. loses to Dixie (with a large portion hinting at poor coaching, better players walking halls, and lots of negativity), and only 29 posts on this thread after Camels rebound with a solid road win against arguably #2 team in 10th region. In the army the description of this was behavior was....."the troops aren't happy unless they're bit**ing"!

The stories of Campbell County's demise were greatly exaggerated

I doubt that a 3 pt. win over Montgomery will solve their problems.

I doubt that a 3 pt. win over Montgomery will solve their problems.

They did exceed your expectations of losing by 17, so that should count for something. Haha.

It won't solve their problems but reading the other thread you would have thought CC was done and dusted. Good win over a fellow 10th region favorite who will be right there at the end fighting for a shot at Rupp. But people tend to dwell cynical on message boards.
