I'm needing a new driver's side mirror after my old one decided to leave its home while I was driving up I-65. Got into L'ville and ran into backed-up traffic merging onto the Watterson because of Mega Cavern traffic. Talk about hair-raising trying to get out of stopped traffic and merge on to the left with no driver's side mirror.

You are talking about an aftermarket mirror. It will be good quality but maybe not as as good as original.
December 17, 201510 yr Author Side note: The traffic caused by the stupid Mega Cavern is an abomination. I felt like the Lord was telling me I wasn't meant to go out and visit with buddies in L'ville that night. Got 10-12 miles up the road before having to double back because I forgot clothes.

December 17, 201510 yr Author So you left the house naked? :idunno: For the next day. We had family Christmas in Bloomington so I was staying over with my brother. Didn't need to have the same T-shirt on as the night before.

December 18, 201510 yr I've had good luck with Rock Auto. Didn't buy from them, but a while back researched a part for a car after having it priced at a local nationally known auto parts supplier. They had 3 different offerings of the part, ranging from about $30-50. Store wanted $100. Ended up just not getting the part and got rid of the car a little while afterwards, but had I gotten it it would have been through rock auto.
