So, we've got Hoptown, Christian Co. and Dunbar all hands down #1s .

Got it.

I have seen all 3 teams play this year and I think Dunbar was far and away the best team of those 3. Bowling Green and Hoptown play tomorrow so that will be a great measure for both teams.

Christian County really hasn't played anybody yet to get a good measure of how good they will be. They play Warren Central tomorrow, but I am not sure I would rate WC a top team yet although they are playing well.

Dunbar has laid a beat down on everyone they've played including one of Alabama's top teams and Lafayette which was/is a top 10 team in Kentucky.

Agreed on BG vs Hoptown. Should be a good measuring stick on Saturday.

Well I've actually watched Hopkinsville and Dunbar play. They are both top 10 teams and I think they are both the favorites to win their respective regions right now.

For me, Dunbar is the best team I've seen in Kentucky so far. They have a big time point guard, a solid big guy, talented depth and perhaps the best player in the Class of 2017 in KY. If the season ended right now, I'd pick Dunbar to win the 11th and the Sweet 16.

Hopkinsville is what they always are...really athletic, really deep, play hard, coach goes crazy and gets the most out of them. The difference is that they have a big guy who plays this season and a guard or two who can knock down 3-pointers.

I have also watched Bowling Green and they are a top 10 team, as well. The game I watched wasn't their best performance but the talent and size is clearly there. They are my pick to win their region, too.

Bowling Green won't be full strength until about a month from now. I don't expect them to look the way they are expected to look until then.

1. Bowling Green

2. Taylor County

3. Bullitt East

4. Dunbar

5. Mercer County

7. Hopkinsville

8. Christian County

20. Lawrence County

For reals? Dunbar is not # 1? And Bryan Station is in the top 25 but not Lexington Catholic?

Top 20.

And no, no LexCath yet. Not after losing to NCC.

I honestly couldn't tell you if they deserve to be ranked but LexCath was missing 3 starters for that one. I'll defer to y'all.

Hopkinsville is clearly number 2 is Western Kentucky in front of Bowling Green as well.

Clearly you were wrong

I still think Hopkinsville is a top 10 team in the state. Bowling Green proved to be the better team tonight and deserving of the no.1 state ranking.

However, Christian County shined tonight beating the #77 nationally ranked team 75-52. I am inclined to give them the vote as no.1 team in the state not just wky.

Holy Cross? ?? Top 20

Is holy Cross a top 20 ...?

Say what you want but Warren Central will find a way to win that district.

Umm, there hasn't been a 14th district or 4th region team this heavily favored since WCs 2002-07 run. Warren Central is about 2 years away from being a has been program. It's pretty sad, south warren has destroyed that school with all of the kids and teachers they stole. BG took the region over and looking at the talent they have in their Fresh/JV/middle school teams, they aren't looking back anytime soon.

Christian county deserves to be the number 1 team in the state after beating their first for opponents bout 40+. And just beat the #77 ranked team in the country independence by 20+ points. They are on a roll. They coming out of region 2 easily and could possibly win it all this year. Look out
