Bluegrasspreps Boys Rankings 12/8/15

I would agree. I think Dunbar is no. 1 in the state, but none of the top teams did anything to warrant them dropping.

Looks like Ballard will drop out, Lafayette will drop after Dunbar beat them convincingly.

I would like to see Paducah Tighlman and Murray gets some consideration. Whoever wins this weekend's game should enter into the top 20.

I could see Paducah Tilghman and Murray both being ranked soon.

Murray beat graves county by 11 @ Graves

If that happens that would put 5 WKy teams in the top 20. When was the last time that happened?

WKY had a good run last year at state tournament as well.

WKy has historically had some great athletes. It's great to see WKy shine. A lot of it has to do with the quality of coaching improving in all sports in western Kentucky. Athletes have always been there, now the coaching is catching up

Uhhhh.... Every year!

They're solid. Grubb, Ander, & the big Taylor are a pretty good trio but big drop off after those three, IMO.

Mercer has athletes but they're not a very skilled team...IMO of course.

Based on you seeing the game against SL, I can understand your sentiment. They probably played at about 2/3 of their potential IMO. Couple of their top 6 got back late from football and; adding a transfer to the mix; and the SL game was their PG's first game back from 2 weeks of illness. They didn't look good at all.

So, they're a long way from peaking. Yet they beat the #1 rated (#2 at worst) team in the mountains, playing at a venue in the mountains. And have won their other 3 games by an average of 30 points. Not bad for a team that's probably 3 weeks away from getting it all together.....

Hopkinsville is number 1 then Taylor and then Dunbar, Bowling Green, Bullitt East, Christian County in that order !

Your crazy hoptown is not better than any of the teams you just named...

Wow! I am not sure i agree with this ranking at all. If Christian Co and Hoptown are 7th and 8th in the state that District battle will be a wild one! Looks like the Louisville power teams are slipping this year.

Hoptown lost a lot of players last year and are young this year. Agree.

Say what you want but Warren Central will find a way to win that district.

Christian County is the best team in Western Kentucky and in the entire state. Period.

Hopkinsville is clearly number 2 is Western Kentucky in front of Bowling Green as well.
