I'm sure both teams will "come to play" always great games when these two lock horns. Throw the records out they always play up for each other. Agreed coaching will be a big factor in this one.

Coaches will be ready. Players will be ready. It ought to be another dandy. But I'm sure whichever side wins it will be a huge win for their respective team and whichever loses it will just be another game and the outcome will be different in late February when it matters.

Bracken/Augusta is not "just another game".

I haven't done too bad yet this year. I mean, I know the inevitable Randy jinx is coming, but I haven't done too bad so far. :lol2:

Picked Scott to beat GRC by 4 & they won by 2.

Picked MoCo to beat Bracken by 8 & they did.

Picked Campbell to beat Harrison 61-52 & they won 61-53.

Picked MoCo to beat Rowan by 3 & they won by 2.

Picked Scott to beat Pendleton by 5 & they won by 2.

Picked Bracken to beat Pineville "in comfortable fashion" & they did.

I did, however, pick Mason County to beat Simon Kenton.

Like I said, the jinx is coming. It's just a matter of time.

Shoot for the cure night in Brooksville. These two schools get together and raise money for Cancer Research. Great cause with a boy-girl double header to boot.

Who wins and why?

Very highly anticipated night, but as referenced above, the night has a much bigger purpose. To raise funds and awareness to a very dreaded and devastating disease.

Team Augusta is coming in with talent and good deal of experience in Maddox, who will have an emotional night with his uncle coaching at BCHS, Snapp and Crawford. Team BCHS has talent with Crawford and they will need to have a couple of step up men maybe Hamilton and Williams. If Williams is hot with 3's and considering they're at home, I'll take BCHS by 5. Either way, it will be a good preview considering All A and District Tournaments will both be at BCHS this year.

Coaching strategy and player execution will determine the outcome of this one. Whoever comes to play will get this "W".

Since you are in the middle of the road o this one, don't let the headlights blind you,,LOL. I will take Augusta by double digits.

He's not in the middle of the road. He thinks Bracken is going to Rupp.:lol2:

You guys have convinced me that may not be certain. But one game this early will probably not be the ultimate determining factor. Although the wrong outcome may have an impact on the local unemployment rate......

....I'd say that rate is quite safe.

I hope that's correct.........
