Was this Moreno v Allen match up?

Not really. It was extreme double teaming on Allen and make others score. Hunter Wood was on the bench with a bad wrist and his ball handling skills were really missed. Pc continued to fight throughout the game and this level of competition will only make them better. They jump right back into the fray this afternoon with Oldham County.

Still had 29 and 11

I know and earned every one of them.

That's what Keaton told me. Today will be another big test. I'd assume Oldham will double him as well.

Allen with 29 points 13 rebounds?

Moreno 16 points not sure on rebounds..

Wood was missed for sure but the second half PC settled down some... Allen led all scorers by hitting a lot of deep 3 pointers in the 4th...PC will be a better team in the long run! Mason Dennie is coming around and with the return of Wood, watch out 10th!

Nice showing for PC with limited personnel. Mr. Allen apparently deserves the defensive attention he's getting. He'll need to keep working hard to battle through it because, trust me, from my experience it only intensifies......

I was told 11, but 13 could be right.

Who is the Kirby kid that has been in the scoring column for PC? Don't remember that name from last season on varsity

Billy Kirby. First time playing varsity ball. Keaton is super impressed with his effort and abilities. He just needs some polishing to be pretty effective on the HS level.

Several have asked that question since the preseason scrimmage with Newport. I was told this year is his first playing ball other than intramurals etc. He has shown steady improvement from the first preseason scrimmage and with the coaching staff we have I see him improving steadily. He started last night.
