Will be ther Sunday to watch another son play NCC.

By being only an hour from BG, will head up Thursday for the Pikeville/Beechwood game. Then watch the Friday, and Saturday games on KHSAA web site. Will drive back Sunday to watch Belfry--Lex Cath.

Bought a couple of club level seats for the 1A game Thursday. Rearranged my syllabus for Friday's class so I can stay the night in BG and relax coming back to the Fort Friday morning. Looking forward to the trip.

 

In case you have not been to the state title games before, and you may have, I wanted to offer some insight that may or may not be helpful. The Club level this year will be on the opposite side from Beechwood and is upstairs and mainly occupied by coaches who's teams didn't make it or fans but not a lot of your fans. I love watching games here as you can sit outside under the upper level canopy or inside and watch through the glass windows or on the tv monitors. This is all good but when your team is playing it is the worst as you are so far disconnected from your fan base with few if any fans around you that give a crab who is winning that it is just impersonal. I highly recommend sitting with your fans while your team plays. In the club you lose all personal touch. Its just not the same

Mariah's has always been a good choice for me and my family/friends. Olive Garden has always had good food/service/atmosphere. One of the better restaurants in their chain,imo.
