I just hear/ read through tweeter that one of these team are traveling to BG on Thursday. Any truth to this and why would you have your team travel on a Thursday when your game is not till Saturday late afternoon?

Yes, it is true. I don't know why they are traveling this evening instead of on Saturday.

What relevance does this have other than to stir the pot? Why does it matter what day they leave? Clearly if they left they have their reasons. Both teams will see each other Sat.

1. They are only 2.5 hours from BG. It's not like they are traveling from Johnson Central or Belfry.

2. To miss instructional/ academics hours to travel 2 days ahead of your game??

3. 80 some players, who and how are you going to keep players occupied that long without getting into some mess ie. who are the chaperones?

Just saw the momentum of a high school championship game greatly impacted by television. The man with the Orange glove could slow down the Male juggernaut and allow Lafayette bigs to get their breath and play in spurts. IMO television should not control the flow of our state championship games. Picture an NFL game and that is what we saw in Pikeville vs. Beechwood. "KHSAA sometimes it is not about the money."

All kinds of things not to like about this decision. As if Male wasn't 3 td favorite this made me say wow.

I guess based on SK loss to Lafayette. The thought is, since the Generals beat SK, they must be better than people think? No, this is going to be a blow out and SK would have got the same treatment. This Male team (the SRs went undefeated as freshman and sophomores) is a nationally ranked team, and the best Kentucky high school football team since the 2011 Trinity team, which was the best Kentucky high school football team ever.

It's time for the SK fans to face facts. In 2 years the only people that will remember the 2015 SK Pioneers and their 1 loss season are the 2015 SK Pioneers. In 10 years when discussions about best teams ever comes up SK won't even be discussed.
