I remember the 90's real well when Johnson Central wasn't very good, they have came a long way since the 1990's.

People love hating on Matney but a simply glimpse of where Sheldon Clark was pre-JM and post-JM.... as well as where JC was pre-JM and where they currently are and there is absolutely no denying he is one of the best coaches in Kentucky.

Lots of good coaches are hated...............and it will continue:popcorn:

Big time congratulations to Johnson Central. It's great to see you guys get this win and move on to the title game.

Enjoy this one for one day and then time to refocus and go win one more.

This was a great game with a great crowd. The Wayne County hospitality was outstanding and the stadium had a very nice, old school feel. The game was clean as good sportsmanship was shown by both teams and officiated well (only a couple turnovers). JC does, however, need to clean up the penalties. Wayne did an excellent job on the sweeps and edge runs, but really had no answer when JC went between the tackles with Gunner Slone and Tyrese Allen. JC had a few chances late to go up 3 scores and put the game away, but Wayne fought back and gave themselves a chance in the end.

Bryce Workman was 5/5 passing (nearly 200 yards) as JC hit the big plays down the field when Wayne loaded the box. Wayne's QB made some really nice throws under pressure and showed a strong arm and good play making decisions. Wayne's QB is also a tough kid as he took some really big hits but stayed in there (Kudo's to you young man). All in all JC was just bigger and stronger and was the better team tonight. Wayne is only going to get better and I expect to see them in the same situation in the future. Great season Wayne as you were picked 4th in your district pre-season but proved everyone wrong by making it to the final 4.

Such a wonderful night to play a football game. Felt like a warm July evening!

Congratulations Johnson Central. Good luck next weekend. I hope you win the championship.
