I would have loved to get to the two games in NKY today but daughter was in. As always, family first.

First time I've listened to a Birds game online. I thought the announcers did a great job. Being Highlands announcers I expected their comments to be a bit more biased. I honestly thought they did a good job with the play-by-play and remained pretty objective.

 

If you want to hear some total homer announcing and not so great play-by-play tune into the Beechwood vs. Russellville game. Sorry Russellville fans but they are not even close to the Highlands announcers.

Greg was not on the broadcast today. I think they missed him quite honestly. I couldn't care less about the homer stuff...of course they are. I just don't think they were as sharp as previous times I have heard them. Not ripping them...they are not pros and I think they do a solid job...

I want to reiterate, I thought they did a nice job calling the game.

Brad and Troy do an outstanding job. And I always look forward to seeing them at the games. It's been a bright spot lately. They are supposed to be homers. And besides being great announcers they are very dedicated and reliable. It's a huge commitment. I'm sure they don't get the credit they deserve but they don't want any. They just want to bring the game to the fans that can't make it.
