November 22, 201510 yr Why don't the Starboys wear the navy jerseys more often? They're so smooth. The white ones are terrible and don't even match the helmet.

November 22, 201510 yr Been wearing white at home since I can remember, which dates back to the mid 60's.
November 22, 201510 yr Real reason: owner in the 1960s wanted to wear white at home so all opponents wore dark in Dallas. This allowed fans to see different color jerseys at each game.
November 23, 201510 yr Author Cause they prefer white at home. Been wearing white at home since I can remember, which dates back to the mid 60's. From my experience, "that's the way we've always done it" is rarely a good excuse. The white jerseys are terrible and don't match the helmet. Pick a freakin' color scheme and stick with it, Starboys.
November 23, 201510 yr The Redskins are basically the same way. Have always worn the whites at home as far back as I can remember.
November 23, 201510 yr It seems like back in the 70's they Cowboys may have had seasons where they either didn't wear Blue at all or if they did it was only once or twice a year. Some teams actually started wearing white at home to force the Cowboys to wear blue which seemed for years to be like Kryptonite for them.

They only wear blues when they are visitors and the home team dictates that they have to wear the blues. FWIW, I like the blues too..

I was saying that from the standpoint that your color can be either navy blue or light blue, but not both. It clashes something awful, and it is an affront to good style, especially considering how slick the navy jerseys — and the alt jerseys with the star on the shoulder — look.
