The worst Ironton team in a long time. Finished the year 6-5 and being blowed out first round of the playoffs.

I watched both games in person. They would beat NCC. They also lost to 4 very good teams very early. Losing to Wheelersburg is like losing to Mayfield or Beechwood or CAL. Very good program, and they lost by 8 to that same team early.Burg is 14-0, Ironton only team to stay within 20 pts of them

The Defensive ends will be a huge factor in this game on defense for Beechwood, how good the offense will be depends on if Kyle can get into a rhythm. If this game is played at Beechwood then I don't think it's close with a win for Beechwood but it's not so this game should be close. Can't wait to get down there and see how these kids do.

Good luck to Beechwood I do believe they will get the win as long as they don't start the way they did against us. Russellville is a better rushing team and if you give them the ball at the forty and they get it down to the red zone like we did they won't be stopped. Whatever the reason we struggled all year in the red zone and that proved to be our down fall in almost all of our losses. But I think that shock of HC playing them close for a while gives Beechwood a jolt and they won't come out that way again. Final score 35-21 Beechwood wins. No disrespect to Russellville but in my opinion Beechwood has the better squad.

Calpreps has New Cath, Ironton and Lloyd ranked above Butler County. Russellville lost to Franklin Simpson and Murray. Ironton is ranked almost exactly the same as Murray. New Cath is ranked higher than Franklin Simpson. Beechwood beat New Cath and Ironton while Russellville lost to similarly ranked Franklin Simpson and Murray. The opponent and score comparison game isn't perfect in telling you who will win but it is interesting to consider

I would like NCC in that match up. Ironton lost to Russell as well who I would consider under achieved with what talent they were suppose to bring back and didn't even win there district. I mean even if Ironton plays with there best player against Beechwood I still think the Beechwood wins. Yes they played a solid schedule but not the year they are customed too.

As of right now, 90% chance of rain Friday. It also rained the whole Murray game and the panthers put it on the ground 7 or 8 times. beechwood should be favored by at least 2 scores. Russellville will have to execute flawlessly to stay in this game. But most importantly no turnovers. Regardless as how lopsided the Murray game looked they actually moved the ball well. They must win the turnover battle. Its hard to pick Russellville because the only good teams they have played this year have won by multiple touchdowns. I'm sure coach Myers will have his boys ready. Just don't know if it will be enough..

This is the Red Cats to lose. That said I sure will miss not getting to see my Red Cat friends this Thanksgiving so I will take this opportunity to wish them a Happy Turkey Day and hope to see them in BG

I believe BW gets through this one convincingly to advance into the state finals! It's that game in which they will be truly tested by which ever V'ille team makes it to Bowling Green!
