That explosive offense of LexCath didn't quit showed up last night, but that will not happen 2 games in a row. And to add that so called SOFT defense that everyone is calling ( hahaha ) LexCath is playing well after a 2-2 start. Sorry folks that defense is not soft. JC took it to them, but after that game they have been playing lights out D. With that said, I am a homer to Lexington schools and will pick LexCath.

Without the Bluebirds in the way LexCath breaks through and advances to the finals.

There will not be 4 first half turnovers to slow down the offense this week.

I'd say Central's defense might have had something to do with the offense last night.

Figures we hear from you hahaha. That would be a negative Sir. 4 turnovers were self implicated mistake. Watch the film and you'll find out. I ended going to the game and saw it live.

I picked Catholic to beat Central and I'm picking Catholic to beat E-Town but I will say Central has the best defense I've seen all year by along shot.

I love my team in all 3 phases but I have to give credit where credit is due. Louisville Central has a scary team when you look at their defense and special teams coverage. They sworm to the ball and they hit you. A very gritty bunch. I worked a camp in 2010 with Ty and he is a detailed individual. They put a hat on the kids and strip you if the other guy holds you up. For them to limit Donnie and JJ is a big deal. Those 2 have combined for 2,000 yards and 23 TDS. The adjustments during pre snap threw us off. We would check to a play they would check out of their look and go man or zone. They would blitz from exotic angles and limited the home run. We had to hit singles and doubles last night. So yes that was the best overall defense I've seen in 2015 against LC.

The Elizabethtown squad has our undivided attention. They do some things that scare me and I think a challenge the Knights will experience is their mental toughness. Some of the best wins they've had this season were followed with clunkers. All of that emotion and getting them refocused is priority number 1. You're facing a hungry opponent on their turf and they are craving respect.

Time to look at some more of E Town this weekend

Nothings a given in 3A. Elizabethtown is undefeated and at this point in the post season that says something. Both teams seemed to have pigskin gods with them last night, so either or both may feel like the team of destiny.

Don't sing it, bring it. Give us your insight, what makes you think or why they are picking against your Panthers?

Not fast enough to keep up with Paducah Tilghman and too weak of schedule to compete with Caldwell yet still here.

Coach Brown and Coach Perry very familiar with each others schemes from time at John and Central Hardin. I think we are in for another great game.
