Looks like rain in the forecast for Friday. Hopefully this forecast changes later in the week. Looking for a good gameday experience.

Central barely beat a McCracken team (10-7) with a freshman QB. This one is not close, Male by at least 4 TDs. Central hasn't played a team this year with the athletes they will see friday night.

Hope that isn't the case...woukd like support from locals tho...would be nice to see 2 area teams represent well in football! Let's just be positive for local boys that played together growing up!

Barely beat is still a W in the book...other than turnovers at McCracken CH played a great game! Defense peaking at right time! Glad to see the District Champs win region too! Makes the district look good ya know! Hope for a good game Friday night with no injuries and an exciting atmosphere!

I wish Central the best but they don't stand a chance. On top of the obvious talent gaps I think this Male team is hungry and angry after beating X and T 2 years ago then losing to Scott Co, and then losing to T last year. I don't see anyone that can stop them from rolling all the way through.

Like Trinity going to Meade last year, just a different level of football.

Not true, North Hardin has similar athletes. Didn't say the TEAM was as good as Male, but the athletes are similar...they're the same ones who compete for annual state track championships, which Male does also.

You are crazy Jslim, I have seen both Male and Bowling Green this year and would put Bowling Green up against any team in the state and it would be a very competative game, also, Boyle County and South Warren are no easy outs either just ask any team in 4A or 3A. Dont compare schedules, I promise Central has played just as tough a schedule as Male. Sure Male has more athletes on the field and should win, Central offense and defensive lines are its strong points and if they can establish a run game, theycan hopefully keep it close.

If you haven't played Trinity, St. X and Manual then you haven't played as tough a schedule. I don't think there were any out of state powers on that schedule to compensate so no, they have not played as tough a schedule at the upper end.

The lower end maybe, Male played some duds too. But if they haven't gone up against anyone the likes of the 3 I mentioned then they haven't seen the kind of talent they need to prepare for.

Those other teams may be good in their classes but outside of BG, none of them are at the level you need to prepare for to win 6A. If you want to stake a claim to 6A you need to beat one of the big boys or get a win against an out of state power.

We saw this last year with T and Meade County. If you can't do more than 1 thing offensively and well then you will struggle against the speed of Male.

I wouldn't be shocked if the score this Friday is identical to the score of the Meade County semifinal last season.

Male by 21.

Outside of Boyle (gone), South Warren, Bowling Green and McCracken (which got beat by Tilghman, who E'town and Caldwell and Central Hardin all throttled) ... Central Hardin's opponents are lacking compared to Male (Trinity twice, Manual twice, X ... heck, Male crushed PRP. PRP whipped John Hardin, which was Central Hardin's best win prior to escaping McCracken (which has lost at home in the playoffs three straight years and got beat by Tilghman ... which Elizabethtown and Caldwell also routed just like Central Hardin).
