What you aren't seeing is that evidence shows we aren't knowingly creating another opportunity for "them" to enter...

Everyone needs to give @HHSHOG62 a round of applause. Someone who read the article and wants to actually address it. Seriously man, my hats off to you.

 

Also, the claim that there will be "stringent background and security check." How do you run a background check on someone that has no previously recorded background? Its not like the US is keeping tabs on every person in Syrian, so what will our government be using to base these background checks.

 

This is a very good point. I'm going to dig further and see if I can find the answers. There is a lot to wade through on the internet so it may take be a bit.

Do you oppose the plausibility of establishing refugee camps within Syria? Wouldn't this be a solution that minimizes the potential risk of a potential terrorist entering our country and not being discovered until it is too late?

So, if 25 year old Ali Muhammad wants to come in, and there is little to no recorded background on him to make any real decision if he's a good or bad dude, do you let him in?

AND...let me point out the irony of it all here. It's funny, but seems now the far left is screaming we "as a Christian nation" should be taking these guys in...when the other 99.9% of the time they say this isn't a Christian nation and should be looked upon as secular in nature. That flip-flop is big enough to get MY foot in.
